Brand Loyalty

Dettol and Me

i  never bothered to know when i became the brand loyal customer of dettol but the dettol case study as an assignment in marketing made me to discover how i became brand loyal to dettol soap.When i was at my home i used soaps which my mom or dad bought in the house but i went to the hostel in the year 2003.My mom gave me few soaps while leaving for the hostel which got over in few months and that was the time when i had to decide which soap i will use. I bought medimix thinking this soap has so many benefits as we can use this to wash our hairs and bath both and it is herbal too but it didn't attract me for long and i switched to Hamam because that soap i had used in my childhood days then i went for Lifebuoy.I do remember that i bought 6 lifebuoy at one time with it i bought dettol liquid also.In my bathing water i put half spoon of dettol and used lifebuoy soap to my body.But its hard smell restricted me from opening the third packet.As i was using liquid dettol in my bathing water made me to buy dettol soap and this entire saga happened in one and half years.
From that day onward i didn't use soap other then dettol.
